Skrim Watercolour Dots

Our product ranges consist purely of watercolours. We offer metallic watercolors, colour-changing watercolors, special holographic or luminous watercolors as well as normal, highly pigmented watercolors in standard shades. We also have a specialty product called „the Rainbow“ that creates an imitation rainbow on black paper.

We simply want to offer a wide range of colors to create works of art that have never been seen before and we believe that you need the familiar but also the new to ideally combine them and create new works of art.

Winsor & Newton Drawing Ink 14ml

These inks are made from high quality dyes bonded with Shellac. The latter are very colour-intensive and are particularly suitable for colorful, expressive works. All Winsor&Newton drawing inks are water resistant. White, Indian Black and Gold are pigmented and lightfast. All 25 colors in this range can be used with brushes and dip pens and are loved by designers, artists and illustrators.

van Gogh Watercolor Half pens

Like their namesake, these brilliant, transparent watercolors come from Holland. Their pure pigments and even consistency make the colors easy to mix and work with. The range is characterized by high color strength and lightfastness and comes in student and artist quality.

Leonard-Pinceaux Lavis Fauve 100RO 0 Brush

Lavis Fauve brushes have been handmade in France since 1779. The synthetic fibers are two-tone and are held in place by 4 triple copper bridges. The round brush tip has a diameter of 5.5mm, is 23mm long and tapers to a point at the front without a ferrule or tube. This construction is stable and durable.

ST CUTHBERTS MILL SAUNDERS WATERFORD Watercolour paper Cold Pressed

This exquisite watercolor paper is made of 100% cotton and is traditionally produced on a cylinder mold machine. Each sheet is powdered with calcium carbonate to protect and preserve finished works. The surface of the paper has an unmistakable, unique texture, which is created through the use of natural woollen felt and is strengthened with a layer of gelatine. The paper absorbs moisture and is therefore particularly suitable for painting techniques – and has even been awarded by the Royal Watercolour Society.

Hi! My name is Tanya, @tantanni on Instagram. I’m an illustration artist and graphic designer currently based in Germany. I love drawing characters, magical beings, mermaids, fairies and other fairytale creatures. I draw inspiration from nature, fairytales and folklore, and hope to be able to create a magical story of my own one day.

What is your artistic process like? What are your favorite tools?

I like to draw outside, so whenever the weather allows, you’ll find me migrating with all my art supplies towards the terrace 🙂 it’s very important for me to have a lot of natural light, so when it’s too cold for outside drawing, I stick around the biggest window at home.

I start my process with doing stretches for wrists and fingers and a couple of warm up doodling exercises (helps to skip the awkward phase of sketching), and then ease in my artistic process with a cup of coffee and some relaxing, but rhythmic music, gathering my thoughts and ideas, and making a plan for this drawing session.

Sometimes I’m up up for just some sketchbook fun, and in this case I just go with the flow and see where the drawing takes me, deciding on the go what materials and colors I’m going to throw together. But if I’m working on an illustration I treat it as a project, with all the preparation stages attached – multiple preliminary sketches, always some color studies and figuring out on a scrap piece of paper how the media I want to use work together. It sounds tedious, but in reality helps me save a lot of time and nerves on that trial and error phase.

Both approaches are equally important to me and I wouldn’t want to stick with just one of them forever 🙂
